I’m a full-time digital artist and admitted nerd with over ten years of experience working as a creative force in the art, design and music industries. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I got an early leg up into the city's tight-knit creative community by just sticking around and meeting people in the right places at the right time.

MOTIVATION
I have a vast variety of interests, ranging from film, photography, creative writing and cooking. I love Starbucks, Thai food and collecting vinyl—my favorite sport is karaoke and I’m a total studio rat, frequently writing, recording and vocal producing with several producers and some of the industry’s brightest singer-songwriters.
As a digital artist and creative director, I’m heavily inspired, moved and motivated by music. The compositions and lyrics vividly paint pictures that I try my best to communicate visually with vibrant colors and provocative imagery. With digital artwork and prints, my goal is to express the clear correlation between aesthetic and sound.
EXPERIENCE
ART DIRECTOR 2020 - 2024
Identifying and building brand voice and visual aesthetic. Conceptualizing and creating designs for restaurant aesthetics, internal and external marketing, print and digital marketing assets, packaging, merchandise, etc. Planning, organizing and executive special events, partnerships (campaigns with Steve Madden, The Lip Bar, Beyond Meat, Inocgmeato, etc.), collaborations and activations.
FREELANCE CREATIVE 2016 - 2019
Conceptualizing and executing creative for Motown/Capitol Records artists, including but not limited to photoshoots, album packaging, merch designs and overall creative.
SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY 2016 – 2017
Creating and scheduling social media content across multiple platforms for all Wondaland Records artists, including Janelle Monae, Jidenna, St. Beauty, Deep Cotton and Roman GianArthur. Executing strategy surrounding tour activations with Toyota (Wondaland Goes Places) and partnerships with Samsung.
CONTENT CREATOR 2014 – 2016
Development and posting of creative content, conducting interviews with and maintaining relationships with independent and traditionally signed recording artists, daily blog posts of new music, music videos, music news and spotlighting up-and-coming artists.
MUSIC EDITOR 2005 – 2014
Daily posting of new music, videos and music news, discovering and breaking new artists while building and maintaining relationships with recording artists, songwriters, producers and record label executives.

If I'm designing, I'm using Adobe Creative Suite. I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I was self-taught from a young age, and then took formal training in college.

For proficieny and to be able to make live updates, I like to use Google Suite. Slides, Sheets, Meet. I like it all. So user-friendly and straight-to-the-point.

Apple products are life. Honestly it's my comfort zone. I have a really hard time making my way around PC's.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
It really just the mood I'm in. I love the mango dragonfruit refreshers with lemonade and three pumps of classic syrup. Then sometimes, I like a white chocolate mocha. And then I'm really partical to the Medicine Ball. That tea mixture is so soothing.
This is a loaded question. I'd round my collection to around 600 records.
This is one of my favorite questions! I'd have to say Aaliyah's selt-title album, Beyoncé's "RENAISSANCE," "In Search Of..." by N.E.R.D., Tweet's "Southern Hummingbird," Amerie's debut album, "All I Have," the underrated R&B classic, Teedra Moses's debut album, "Complex Simplicity," Brandy's "Full Moon," Tinashe's first independent release, "Songs For You," "Destiny Fulfilled" by Destiny's Child and lastly, I'd have to say... "Velvet Rope" by Janet Jackson. I could go on and on. Top 10 is hard!
Honestly, I love anything Asian. Chinese food, Japanese, Korean barbecue. I love Vietnamese soups! Pho is is great comfort food. I love Indian food. Thai food is life. Give me ramen too! I love any kind of Asian cuisine.
